Homecare Independent Living management are very proud of its team of employees who dedicate so much of their spare time during the year to run the iCare charity and organise events for fundraising purposes.
iCare successes are growing year on year with more and more people engaging with us about the work which we do and the impact which we have on our communities.
Our committee is largely made up of staff from Homecare Independent Living who organise fundraising events, gather parcels for families in need, encourage people to volunteer in the community, grant iCare Wishes to people who need help and make positive contributions to our wider society.

The charity launched in 2010 with Santa's Gatelodge, Milford. The Gatelodge was transformed into a Santa's grotto and the grounds, a winter wonderland. In its first year the event attracted over 3,000 visitors to the small village and raised £5,000 for the NSPCC. In its second year, it raised over £12,500 for various other charities.
Following the success of the Santa's Gatelodge project, iCare
organised a summer Fun Day in Milford to raise money for the restoration of Milford School House and other listed buildings in the area. The event, which took place in late August 2011, saw a host of activities including bouncy castles, face painting, go-karting, pony rides, etc. This is now an annual event enjoyed by much of the large community.
iCare developed its activities to found "iCare Wishes" in 2013 granting wishes to people in need within our Communities.
